Vilart Ensemble
Vilart Ensemble was born in 2018, and is formed by a group of young musicians from the region of Tarragona, who decide to return to their origin to share the experiences and learning they have acquired throughout their musical career in renowned centers such as the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC), the Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceu, the Royal College of Music (RCM), the Trinity Laban Conservatory of Music and Dance in London, or the Maastricht Conservatory, among others.
The artistic project consists of bringing the public closer to both masterpieces of the classical repertoire for clarinet and string quartet, as well as contemporary works, thus keeping one foot in the past, and another in the present, which will become the future. Through chamber music, the quintet explores the sonic possibilities and registers of each instrument in a repertoire that includes Mozart, Julio Domingo, Weber, Glazunov, Schumann, Piazzolla and Davis.
This format also offers the possibility of reorganizing the instrumentation in the service of creating infrequent and/or heterogeneous programs that give space to current composers, promoting interaction, creativity and support in the creation of a solid and quality cultural network.
